"Merkado" is a unique neighborhood Bar & Restaurant that features Latin cuisine. Our simple formula of developing restaurants that serve high-quality, fresh and flavorful food at great prices in an inviting and entertaining atmosphere has been successfully received in DC and in particular, Logan Circle. We were determined to sign the next available restaurant space on this P Street block. The Logan neighborhood has taken off residentially and the area needs more dining spots. "Merkado" is a casual Latin Grill. The menu features items such as
Wonton Empanadas, Baja California Rolls, Asian Paella, Slow Cooked Pork Mole and a make your own Nacho Menu, all at reasonable neighborhood prices. A large selection of both Latin and Asian beers as well as
Sake and a full bar is part of the theme. The decor is a sophisticated urban Cantina.
