Appetizers
The Po Piah crepe is light, the stewed jicama has the right consistency and the Po Piah rolls are drizzled with the right amount of hoisin and chili sauce. For $3.50, you get two good-sized rolls.
At Kopitiam, one serving of Satay comes with four skewers of chicken, beef, lamb or pork served with sauce, cucumber and fresh onion. One serving is priced at $3.95. What this serving is missing is Ketupat.

Kopitiam's Roti Canai is perfection in food. At Kopitiam, you get the authentic thick Rotis sold in the Mamak stalls in Malaysia. One serving of Roti, served with Chicken Curry is priced at $3.50. The other appetizers on the menu are Lo Bak, Otak-Otak, Ampang Yong Tofu and Satay Tofu. The latter is a good alternative for vegetarians wanting some Satay action.

Hawker Specials
Kopitiam's menu has a good spread of Hawker foods. If you are craving noodles, your options include Curry Laksa, Assam Laksa, Penang Prawn Mee, Char Kuih Teow, Hokkien Mee, Mamak Mee Goreng and many more. The Curry Laksa is good and the serving size is large. But if you are craving rice, there is Nasi Lemak, Chicken Rice and Nasi Goreng. Take your pick. Kopitiam's hawker specials, which are authentically Malaysian, are priced between $7.50 and $8.95.

Entrees
The Assam Sambal Shrimp is a good marriage between shrimp, red onion, red peppers and Kopitiam's spicy sour Sambal sauce. Although this is one of the pricier entrees on Kopitiam's menu, i.e. $12.95, given that this is seafood, it is still value for money. So, if you are seafood fan and are looking for a Sambal fix, this is a good option for you.
Nyonya Chicken is one of the less commonly know entrees on Kopitiam's menu. It is chunks of golden chicken served in light vinaigrette and fresh chili based dressing. The dressing in itself is interesting but since the meat is chunky and the entre is served on a flat plate, the dressing does not quite seep into the meat. But this could be easily fixed if the chicken chunks are diced and served in a bowl instead. The other entrees on Kopitiam's menu include Rendang, Assam Fish, Chicken Curry, Belachan Kang Kong and plenty more. The greens are priced similar to Hawker Specials.
