Welcome to Regina Pizza! Since 1926, over eighty years, these words have greeted customers in the North End of Boston. When the Polcari Family took over Pizzeria Regina on Thatcher Street, they made it what it is today, the Oldest Pizza House in New England. For four generations, Reginas delicious pizza has been inspired by good food and the special pride of the Polcari family. The original Regina pizza had a thin crust topped with a hearty blend of fine cheese, flavorful sauce, delicate seasoning, and the finest toppings. Back then, Anthony Polcari did it all made pizza, tended bar, waited on table, and washed the dishes. Anthony made a lot of friends and his insistence on quality kept them coming back for more. Anthony believed there were no short cuts to excellence. His claim of years ago, I give the best that I can make is as true today as it was in generations past. His secret was simple: every day we will start with the freshest and the finest the freshest vegetables and meats, the finest recipes and care no preservatives, no additives just fresh, natural foods cooked to perfection and combined with family pride and tradition. Since those early days, the faces have changed. But the Polcari family still keeps a watchful eye over it all. It is as important to the family today that Regina Pizza is the best that can be made, the best you can buy. The family wants you to be happily satisfied. It is a manner of great pride and family tradition here at the Oldest Pizza House in New England.
