Gelato Artisans opened its doors in December 2002.
This family owned and run gelateria was conceived while Stephanie and John Reitano vacationed in John's native Italy. Baffled at the lack of
gelato back home, the couple decided to bring the Italian national pleasure back to the states. Staying true to Italian tradition, Stephanie first looks locally to find the best ingredients, selects flavors as dictated by the seasons and crafts
gelato from scratch in small batches each morning. Their emphasis of using nothing but the freshest and highest quality products has made their gelato nationally renowned and on par (if not better) than the best of Italy!
